My first bus ride...to market is enjoyable.

Went out to the convenience store, it's kinda complete already...like a big market...everything you need is there...

I saw daikon, it's really big...round and long, and big pears too...

Pinoy adobo in Japan....

I am craving for lutong pinoy...yahoo there's adobo I found on the table...for my brekker!!!

Udon is so yummy. I am afraid to gain much weight here.Foods are really great.

Christmas in Japan...

I feel great seing Christmas decor in Japan. Being a non-Catholic (I hope I'm right) country they also observe Christmas. I can see decorations everywhere I go. This huge one in the picture is one great example. And so I miss home.

My 1st day in Japan

Before we went home we both felt famished. We ate Tonkotsu Ramen and Gyouza. A special ramen with pork bones' stock as soup base. I like the hot towel I called lumpia...that usually comes along with your meal...to clean the hands before eating...they call it OSHIBORI.

I dropped my jaw when I saw huge Christmas tree standing like sentinel at the lobby...great...I felt home. Went up at the Sky deck and saw lights up illuminating the night.

Though afraid of the language barrier here, I noticed the warmth and politeness of the people here. I have learned to vow each time I get to see people, specially the oldies and the young ones as well. Learning to say THANK YOU or ARIGATO GOZAIMASU is one of their culture here showing respect.

We arrived 27 minutes ahead of the scheduled arrival at the Nagoya Chubu Centrair.Whoah, it's cold here. Makki and her friend met me on time...we hugged and gave each other a kiss...beaming with happiness and excitement. Before anyone could get out of the NCC, an immigration inspector have to conduct a brief examination for landing. This is a new implementation. We lined up and underwent individual fingerprints scanning,and facial photographs, tourists or residents.

After the long wait...this is it...I'm about to leave early morning tomorrow...for Japan. You'll not gonna miss me. Will see you around the web.

Ok...I think I have to go to bed now...I am just so exhausted the past week of preparations. Though tired and worn out...I couldn't call it a day!!! Everything must be ready and prepared.
