Some people are...[part 3]

I overslept this morning since it rained last night so malamig kaya nag-enjoy ako ng konte. The first news na umabot sa tenga ko eh something na di maganda. The person who tried to gype me on that unforgettable furniture business partnership and the owner of the house I have had rented have something in common. Some people when pushed have the tendency to bend their principles over. Much worse when they can make other's life miserable. Sometimes I wonder why I [...am almost] always find myself in a difficult situation where my inner values are put to test or something, but at the end of it all I am so thankful that I don't usually find myself in a desperate and offensive plight...which is a sorry plight for me...na kailangan mo pang mang-apak ng tao...good thing that I am not a martyr of philintinism.

Night stroll...

It's hot and humidity's up that night...kaya lumabas kami...sa OL sana but it was too risky naman going up to Antipolo na, so we decided to take a night stroll at Riverbanks. When we got there...mahangin-hangin nga but I noticed the smell emanating from the creek (?) t'was a bit of a smell siguro dahil sa basura or sa amoy ng tubig ...hehe... but I enjoyed naman looking at the school of janitor swarming on the shoaling river. A small boat (?) was left tied on one post of the gangplank was full of plastic garbage. If only people would realize how these plastics could worsen the fish habitat...sigh...those tapon dito and tapon doon habit of some who have this who-cares attitudes. I saw the difference when I saw how Japanese preserve and love their own country. Well, we then sauntered the whole place and we ended up eating at the grilling area ala Dampa style. The kids enjoyed eating grilled pusit and tilapia, with free slices of green mango and fried talong with delicious bagoong. The price was good enough but I didn't enjoy walking on uncemented ground kasi maalikabok. As I was doing this post...grrr for these kids at my back...it's so hard pala working with a crowd of young people badmouthing!. This cafe can hold up to15 people mostly young boys who are so engrossed playing internet games and wala akong marinig kungdi...s#it, tang### mo, bakla, #uc# y##, ha### ka!...grrrr...sarap balatan ng mga batang ito. I just hope they could hear their own voices...buti na lang di ganito mga anak ko!
Going back at the Riverbanks, I sat on the edge of the stairs near the bank...and puffed a cigarette to allay my gas pain. I just felt bloated from eating too much. Then we went straight home and I made myself a hot steaming coffee.
We seldom go out since magastos. Dahil malapit na ang vacation...naglambing lang ang mga bata na lumabas kami. Nice time bonding! It's real nice when kasundo mo ang mga anak mo just like I do. I always see to it na maging open ang aming communication. We also have had some conflicting ideas pero still we are okey...para lang kaming magkakabarkada...and with these young people... I am keeping up pa rin!

Taking some time off!

We watched last screening of SUNDO last night at Sta Lu. Wheew! Minsan nakakatakot din manood ng movie with all those horrible way of deaths na maayos din nagawa ni Direk Topel Lee. When I texted my son at nagpapasundo ako dahil mahirap ng magcommute. Hehe...my dau blurted, mama sundo?! Oo nga naman...I refused pati to use the word sundo. Totoo nga kaya yun, well...kasi my sister who was then in her dying moments some years back due to big C...was telling us na may mga visitors daw sa loob ng room niya. When my elder sister asked who they were...she told us na yung mga deceased relatives namin with our parents who also passed away. She could also describe the dresses they were wearing during that visit daw. That time she was already having a hard time communicating with us but the fact was she was still matino pa with all her senses still working inspite of the agony she was having that time. Sometimes one would asked if those things were true. Who knows?
Last last week also, we watched TAKEN and thats my kind of movie to watch. The story is also superb and one couldn't miss the scene not even by winking. I love it! But what is important ay ang bonding naming magnanay. Sarap pag ganung moment...

New home, new style and pennypinching!

Got no internet connection here in our new rented place. We decided not to, since after 3 or 4 months will be then moving again to our new house...whoah! We also decided to give away and sell out those old things at home [to unhold]...say to start anew...and I saw naman how happy those people who have gotten hold of some furnitures or appliances na we were able to sell at a very low low prices...utang pa yung iba. Ung iba bigay bigay na lang like pillow cases, bedsheets, pants na mejo lumuwag na talaga sa akin...[haha!]...canisters...plates na me sentimental values...glasses, mugs, basins, lahat na yata...electric organ, new freezer, and etc. We want to take in some new things to our new house we would call our home. I have realized na am keeping a lot na pwede namang ishare sa iba...so new blessings would easily come naman.
One thing I've learned now...is not to be an impulsive buyer, 'coz youl'll end up buying what is not important. I minimize na bringing some stuffs na pwede namang wala.

Btw, I'll be having guest writer here in my blogsites...whom I will call Jade. Just wait...she's a damn good writer believe me.

Patience...patience!

Went to Sta Lucia ground floor to download some specific movie, videos I had in mind for my iPod Touch. I always wanted to watch Memoirs of Geisha...wala raw...wala...as in memwars...eh di kami magkaintindhan. When I saw the very long list, hehe, andun nga...maybe di nila mapronounce ng maayos yung memoirs...ooops sorry. I saw it kasi on the list.
Yesterday was a big disappointment talaga para sa akin where my patience again was put to test na naman. Why me?! Was talking to the two men at the stall...when suddenly a lady took charge of everything...she plugged the adaptor to my iTouch...and after one and two flick...voila..."mam wala naman hong naka-save na video eh"...and I went who told you, eh napakaraming laman niyan...mp3 and videos...at kabisado ko pa ang mga pina-upload ko..Grrrrrrrrrr....to the max. Lokang babae, akala makakalusot siya sa akin...but although I prevented myself going ballistic for her little-big mistake...di maikakailang galit ako. Kainis! For me kasi they should be very very careful and responsible for every thing that they do lalo't ganyang mga naka-save save na files. Eh paano kung mga pictures ang na-delete niya...naku korte aabutin niya sa akin. It once happened to me na when I sued the owner of the catering I hired who happened to have a video coverage job din. I submitted 54 pieces of still pictures of my daughter [o di ba, kabisado ko pa]...from the time na 3 day old pa lang anak ko, elem days, hi-shcool days where she was receiving her numerous medals and other thing...ayun at naiwala daw niya sa taxi...grrrrrrrrrr...we ended up in court! She paid a cool amount and money was not my point here. I wanted to teach her a lesson. Yun lang! The girl yesterday eh talagang nakakapika. As if she knew everything...akalain mong ma-delete lahat ng files ko. She replaced almost everything! Good for her...kala niya makakalusot siya. I didn't cuss nor say anything...pero yung mukha ko...hehehe...talagang very transparent for whatever I felt during that time. Nainis ako talaga eh. Masyado kasing atribida. Ang tagal ko pang naghintay. Nasira pa ang lakad ko! Some people are talaga...sigh! I took pictures of her while she was doing her thing ...she knew it...'coz she glanced at me. Am sure napagalitan siya ng boss niya who happened to be at the stall din. He was apologetic naman..."sorry ho, hindi naman ho sinadya"...well ok...buti walang pictures...naku! Kung nagkataon meron, ah hindi pwedeng sorry sorry sa akin.

Tsk! tsk!

Whoah! I can only say...ang bilis talaga ng KARMA! I can't go on details.Pero it really proves right...na whatever comes around goes around. Ako I can't discuss and it's not my cup of tea to shout out how am I when faith is concerned, for me it's private and I don't prod nor preach as if I am a holy holy person. But what I am vouching is my principle in life. I do always believe in karma. As human being naturally am not that perfect cut but I am principled and carry this whatever I do. Sa lahat ng iniiwasan ko ay ang makaapak ako ng tao, and I think I'd be killing my self if I'd do that. Di ko kayang matulog ng may sinasaktan akong tao or much so maligned anyone for that matter. But I don't hide it that I can go ballistic if one pushes me to the extent talaga. And it's too many to mention what I have had encounter previously or in the past...but sadly I cannot discuss even one of those due to respect. Yes...I know how to spell respect. I can only share some privately but rubbing it off is not my intention. Basta may karma...! And ang bilis talaga!

One common ground!

Yup indeed! We all are dog lovers here at home. I couldn't imagine myself being so attached now with my doggies. I love them so so much! They are so lovable. Grabe pano pa kaya kung babies na yun. To be a lola is a welcome blessing also but time will tell when I'd be a certified lola...malayo layo pa and am not in a rush. For now I do immensely enjoy being with my four dogs. Grabe ang saya saya! Halos d ako makaalis ng bahay...[ I couldn't go out to leave my dogs, even just for a while] and I do worry a lot because our new boarders need to be nursed every 2 hours interval, using a nursing bottle, ang cute nila pagdumedede! Grabe...kagulo! They're so frisky na...tyaga lang...[need to sacrifice a lot cleaning the house with their pee and dangs na very small lang naman]. Once you're an animal lover you have to be very patient, very attentive, and loving talaga...and of course the maintenance is also medyo magastos. Pero the happiness naman na you can get pag kilala ka na nila, naku...incomparable talaga. Like kids...naghahabol din sila and it is not unusual na may bonding talaga kayo and you'll feel their love talaga. So loyal and loving. Serves pa as my doorbell, d makakaligtas na may tao sa gate! Sometimes nauuna pa sila makaalam na parating na ang van. Alam nila ang tunog ng engine ng van namin! Grabe, I love my dogs talaga...eto may palalakihin ulit ako. The problem is, we're planning to go to Boracay nga pala...walang maiiwan na mag-aalaga...who will look after them. I told my daughter na house arrest na lang ako, and ayaw pumayag...madala kaya namin ang mga ito...problema yan!

Hershey and Homer...our new pet puppies!

We have two new additional pet puppies at home. I bought them from Rodel. He is a dog trainer, and I believe he was hired by Toni Gonzaga, the famous young actress and a good TV host from Kapamilya network. She once lived near our house in San Isidro, way back when she was just starting ...at 7's Bubble Gang. Also he trained the dog owned by actress Leah Javier, also a kababayan. When I was asking him to train Mishah, he was then set to leave for his US tour to attend dog training seminars. So the transaction went kaput! Now he was ready, ako naman ang abala at hindi pwede. So next time na lang ulit.
At home my kids love to feed them with puppylove milk using a nursing bottle. Grabe ang bilis lumaki. I can't wait to see them grow bigger.

FRACIS M - The Man From Manila...

Francis Magalona (October 4, 1964 - March 6, 2009), also known as FrancisM, Master Rapper, and The Man From Manila, was a prominent Filipino rapper, songwriter, producer, actor, director, and photographer. Often hailed as the "King of Pinoy Rap", he was considered a legend in the Philippine music community. With the success of his earliest albums, he was the first Filipino rapper in the Philippines cross over to the mainstream. He is also credited for having pioneered the merging of rap with Pinoy rock, becoming a significant influence to artists in that genre as well. He was also a popular television host, notably on MTV Asia where he served as one of the channel's first Filipino VJs, and on noontime variety television show Eat Bulaga!. Magalona died on March 6, 2009 at the age of 44 due to acute myelogenous leukemia.

PS/
His attending physician, Dra. ONA was my mom's oncologist also during the time we were like living at Medical City on and off due to my mom's illness that took her life so swiftly just like what happened to FM. Treatment of that malignant neoplasm is really a shot in the dark...and we know the agony habang ang taong minamahal mo ay nakikipaglaban sa ganitong sakit. Money-wise eh talagang uubusin ang pera mong naitago at kulang pa nga ito sa gamot at chemo na kailangan mong gastusan...plus yung hirap na makita mo ang pasyente na unti unting ginugupo ng sakit na tinatawag nating the big C!

Behind that silvery clouds...

I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

Continuous as the stars that shine
and twinkle on the Milky Way,
They stretched in never-ending line
along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
tossing their heads in sprightly dance.

The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
in such a jocund company:
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
what wealth the show to me had brought:

For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

"I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud" (erroneously known as "The Daffodils") is an 1804 poem by William Wordsworth. It was inspired by an April 15, 1802 event in which Wordsworth and his sister, Dorothy, came across a "long belt" of daffodils. It was first published in 1807, and a revised version was released in 1815.

The poem is written in iambic tetrameter.

Life's simply not fair!

Last March 3, I was invited by my H's cousin to a sumptuous lunch because it's Sofia's 9th birthday. I went there with a box of Red Ribbon cake for Sofia...[Happy Birthday baby!] ....and with my son and his special someone in tow. The food was great...at kinalimutan kong diet ako not to spoil the chance. What's the use of El Carnitine?! While having that table talk...cum eating dot gluttony [...joke]. I was distracted on and off by a loud snoring sound under the table. It's Cano...a white askal...err...aspin na po ngayon according to my dear friend from Animal Kindom. So okey, we call them aspin na as in asong pinoy! When I looked under the table I was stunned by what I saw. My gosh...I saw stocky-built Cano in a poor situation. I asked my cousin why. She related the story behind. At natawa ako sa term niya..."kasi sinakyan yung aso ng kapitbahay namin na puro" [meaning pure-breed]...the owner yata got fumed and decided to get even with Cano...and so now, the poor dog has a swollen face from a hard blow using a blunt instrument, in which the subsurface tissue is injured but the skin is not broken but heavily bruised ...small amount of blood still drips from Cano's nostrils. Now, he looks more like a horse because of his swollen face! The dog snores loudly talaga, maybe because of his situation...I asked my cousin if she has taken the dog to a vet and the answer is negative maybe because money-wise gagastos ka talaga eh. I asked din if they had taken some step to ask the person involved...at least to let them know what happened to Cano after they inflicted harm on the poor dog, that cruelty to animals is a no-no...negative na naman the answer. Wheew! Ignorance of the present law, is the main reason why Cano received such human abusive behavior. This person is not aware of his wrongdoing. I just hope people will learn to love animals the way dogs are with us human. I took some pictures of Cano and I'll try posting it. ...[na-upload ko rin sa wakas]

PS/ ...so busy up to my neck, so baka may mali mali ako...my apology. Will just go over as soon as my time permit me to do so! Ciao!
