Wow, this boy will surely go places!

This young boy from Batangas is really blest just like Bugoy. I was asking one time if there's one in my family who can sing. But sad to say though they can carry a tune just like me, lol...we fell short on that aspect to really find the way to stardom or success just like the group of Charice Pempengco, Jonalyn Viray and others who certainly has now a swelling pocket out of their good voices! :)

Me and my childhood friend Ellen visited an old chum from elem last week, so when we saw each other, the very first time since we bumped into each other...it was really a blast. She really allowed us the run of the house. We helped her cook lunch for her hub and us na rin. Then we ate together. We talked a lot keeping up with lots of jokes and stories to tell to rekindle our old friendship. We laughed a lot. We joked a lot. It was great seeing each other after a long long time. It was fun! Friendship is really to be treasured.

But the sad part is...I got a text that she's having severe stomach pain and would be rushed then to the nearby hospital, but settled to go to St. Lukes at the eleventh hour. Whoah! I just hope it's just a simple spasm.

Who of you wasn't able to watch the blockbuster film 2012? Some says it's likely improbable and merely far-fetched. But how would you call this landslide in Italy? Or this thing is what the Bible is saying from the off. And there's a verse I remember that goes like, "If Mohammed cannot go to the mountain then the mountain will go to Mohammed..."
This happened after a period of heavy rain.

I think they have valid reason for this common beliefs that they should be given this award if only to gas them up to compete even with broken spirits, and who wouldn't? They've lost one team mate just out of the blue. It's really hard when you're out there against your opponent and you set a goal to sack as much as many medals as you can get and yet you're having this momentary emotion that turns on and off in a matter of seconds.

The Olympic honchos should not be too steely not to give this award to the fallen luger's team group to compensate for the team's unyielding professionalism. They have gathered enough courage and do not let the recent incident be the reason to hang their heads in sorrow specially once the whistle to start the game begins. I am just wondering who is to blame here? Of course not Nodar, have a heart please. The problem lies at the last sharp bend of the icy course of the Whistler slide tracks that can shove as fast as 90 mph in just a swoosh. The slide rink is really said to be the fastest. The blame shouldn,t be on the fallen young luger...just out of respect to the deceased athlete. News said..." Just days before the accident, he had called his father, a former Soviet luge champion, and said the speeds on the Whistler run scared him", somehow it is what we can call gut feeling that something portentous was bound to happen that fateful icy morning. Wheew...really sad...I wonder how the family took this just a day away before Valentines.

Rest in peace and stay near God...

Nodar Kumaaaaritasvili has left a great impact [or can I say stigma, or scar?] in the now 2010 Winter Olympics [Vancouver, Canada] for his great love on luge sport competition and made it known worldwide what his passion is all about. Honestly, I knew nothing about luge until Nodar's tragic mishap. Winter Olympics is synonymous to ice of course. And so it reveals the hazard it all carries playing such race with death itself as what happened this recent harrowing event before the initial kick off of the competition. It has created a lot of turmoil and run-downs when the actual videos was aired globally, still is. For me it's an equal thing. The worse to make it roll for couple of times over chronicling Nodar's physical agony and yet it is only wise from my own POV to show what really went through with the help of the CCTV cam video that covers all the details of his accident angle by angle...that has caused his dear young life. It really shows that sh#t really do happen in the most unexpected ways. But what is important here is the lesson we learned out of it. The lesson learned the hard way which has put someone's life in an end.

See how it all happened with the sound of his head when it smashed against the unpadded steel beam just right before the last curve at the Whistler Sliding Center, considered the fastest track in the world reaching to its 95plus mph. I don't want to slight the bereaved family more that's why I didn't embed the video. But somehow I believe people like me ought to know what exactly really has happened during the tragic slide to death.

Turning to music is synonymous to being happy...

The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct, even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy.


From the time my son has decided to take up classical guitar, it exposes us both to learn and appreciate more of the true beauty of classical treasures then on. And these are my very first favorites ... Erik Satie's Gymnopédie No.1 and Je Te Veux... in piano. ♫♫
