Wow, this boy will surely go places!

This young boy from Batangas is really blest just like Bugoy. I was asking one time if there's one in my family who can sing. But sad to say though they can carry a tune just like me, lol...we fell short on that aspect to really find the way to stardom or success just like the group of Charice Pempengco, Jonalyn Viray and others who certainly has now a swelling pocket out of their good voices! :)

Watch him here...Pinoy Got Talent!

Hanep ng galing kumanta! It's a BIG BIG Y E S !!! and palagay ko hindi mo na kailangan na maglako pa ng siomai after class, wow pwede ka ng magpatayo in the future ng siomai factory na ikaw ang boss at may-ari di bah? Hawak mo na ang kapalaran mo, GOOD LUCK! :)

Paging is another Arnel Pineda in the making!

To my dearest friend...

Get well soon, Ms Rosanna Reyes-Espiritu

Get Well Myspace Comments

Me and my childhood friend Ellen visited an old chum from elem last week, so when we saw each other, the very first time since we bumped into each was really a blast. She really allowed us the run of the house. We helped her cook lunch for her hub and us na rin. Then we ate together. We talked a lot keeping up with lots of jokes and stories to tell to rekindle our old friendship. We laughed a lot. We joked a lot. It was great seeing each other after a long long time. It was fun! Friendship is really to be treasured.

But the sad part is...I got a text that she's having severe stomach pain and would be rushed then to the nearby hospital, but settled to go to St. Lukes at the eleventh hour. Whoah! I just hope it's just a simple spasm.

"Surround yourself with only people who are going to lift you higher."
-Oprah Winfrey (1954 -)

The real thing...

Who of you wasn't able to watch the blockbuster film 2012? Some says it's likely improbable and merely far-fetched. But how would you call this landslide in Italy? Or this thing is what the Bible is saying from the off. And there's a verse I remember that goes like, "If Mohammed cannot go to the mountain then the mountain will go to Mohammed..."
This happened after a period of heavy rain.

A Terry Fox Award for the 2010 Georgian Olympic Team

Olympian motto tells “faster, higher, stronger” ...

"We believe that the Georgian Olympic team as a whole represents what this award is all about: It is designed to "honour an Olympian who touches the world with courage, humility, and extraordinary athletic abilities at the 2010 Winter Games." The courage of the Georgian Team has touched the world, as they have continued on despite the tragic death of their teammate, Nodar Kumaritashvili"

I think they have valid reason for this common beliefs that they should be given this award if only to gas them up to compete even with broken spirits, and who wouldn't? They've lost one team mate just out of the blue. It's really hard when you're out there against your opponent and you set a goal to sack as much as many medals as you can get and yet you're having this momentary emotion that turns on and off in a matter of seconds.

The Olympic honchos should not be too steely not to give this award to the fallen luger's team group to compensate for the team's unyielding professionalism. They have gathered enough courage and do not let the recent incident be the reason to hang their heads in sorrow specially once the whistle to start the game begins. I am just wondering who is to blame here? Of course not Nodar, have a heart please. The problem lies at the last sharp bend of the icy course of the Whistler slide tracks that can shove as fast as 90 mph in just a swoosh. The slide rink is really said to be the fastest. The blame shouldn,t be on the fallen young luger...just out of respect to the deceased athlete. News said..." Just days before the accident, he had called his father, a former Soviet luge champion, and said the speeds on the Whistler run scared him", somehow it is what we can call gut feeling that something portentous was bound to happen that fateful icy morning. Wheew...really sad...I wonder how the family took this just a day away before Valentines.

Rest in peace and stay near God...

GO for they say....

Nodar Kumaaaaritasvili
has left a great impact [or can I say stigma, or scar?] in the now 2010 Winter Olympics [Vancouver, Canada] for his great love on luge sport competition and made it known worldwide what his passion is all about. Honestly, I knew nothing about luge until Nodar's tragic mishap. Winter Olympics is synonymous to ice of course. And so it reveals the hazard it all carries playing such race with death itself as what happened this recent harrowing event before the initial kick off of the competition. It has created a lot of turmoil and run-downs when the actual videos was aired globally, still is. For me it's an equal thing. The worse to make it roll for couple of times over chronicling Nodar's physical agony and yet it is only wise from my own POV to show what really went through with the help of the CCTV cam video that covers all the details of his accident angle by angle...that has caused his dear young life. It really shows that sh#t really do happen in the most unexpected ways. But what is important here is the lesson we learned out of it. The lesson learned the hard way which has put someone's life in an end.

Note: If you want to see the actual video which earned [-ing] a lot of run-downs from those people who love Nodar so much and didn't much like the showing of the said footages, go to this site via FB...Kumaritashvili RIP. See how it all happened with the sound of his head when it smashed against the unpadded steel beam just right before the last curve at the Whistler Sliding Center, considered the fastest track in the world reaching to its 95plus mph. I don't want to slight the bereaved family more that's why I didn't embed the video. But somehow I believe people like me ought to know what exactly really has happened during the tragic slide to death.

NODAR, may your soul rest in peace. Stay near God.

Turning to music is synonymous to being happy...

The basic thing is that everyone wants happiness, no one wants suffering. And happiness mainly comes from our own attitude, rather than from external factors. If your own mental attitude is correct, even if you remain in a hostile atmosphere, you feel happy.

From the time my son has decided to take up classical guitar, it exposes us both to learn and appreciate more of the true beauty of classical treasures then on. And these are my very first favorites ... Erik Satie's Gymnopédie No.1 and Je Te Veux... in piano. ♫♫

I love flowers and trellis...

Kit and boodle of being a woman...

Yesterday I went to meet some friends and had lunch there after an appointment from my good dentist. I brought some potluck, so it went like a nicer version of eating combat. Took notice of a guest who's so shy and timid just sitting opposite my direction. She was then introduced to me. And one friend bluntly...arghh, I just hope it could had been better if we've just discussed it discreetly so as not to offend the lady. And who wouldn't anyway. The husband, is found guilty of moonlighting [a leap in the dark], who happen to be working at Macao. The wife, and I mean the lady...who's a young mother of two toddlers...has had already some inkling that the husband is having an extra marital affair abroad. But she still hasn't proven yet til yesterday. Voila, they search his account on FB...boom...and they saw the pictures of her husband with the other woman. He even has shouted out on his FB wall... "to the woman who's the apple of my eyes.." oh she's so cool [a je ne sais quoi] to go cotton-picking. Others would find it hard to accept and will go foaming at once and cuss like there's no tomorrow. She's so cool and I saw no knitted brows...but I saw the pain in her eyes. The group gave their own pieces of mind and I just told her to hang loose and think of her children's welfare first before deciding on the matter. To see her philandering hub right in her very eyes could mean a lot of things. Those pictures and the worst to see the wall on his FB shouting out and confessing each other's feelings, embracing and everything.

Now here's my two-cents a mother who's been treated like a lagan temporarily, lawl...that's the best adjective I could think of [babalikan pag tapos na ang fling]... one has to have this unflagging optimism and so much courage even if you feel like hell. I was in that situation before but the love I have for my children is what's making me stronger and gave me enough will to live my life normally. I did cry that day away but the next day I promised to myself never to cry again. What I did is to put myself together again and think positively. Who cares? If the man goes astray or whether the children go nuts, or do drugs still the woman of the house receives all the flak and becomes the lightning rod for criticisms. For me there's no stigma when you are separated or not. I believe every other house in the neighborhood has an issue. Iba iba nga lang. I welcome this issue wholeheartedly rather than to have a son who's into drugs or what. Believe it or not, now I have calmer nerves and still though the old love I felt has vanished...I still do care [but no love at all] for my DH and I always pray that he'd be in good health and I pray that they'll stay stronger together. Why? Because what happened in the past makes me numbed and sorry to say that I cannot be a wife to him anymore. I enjoy being a single parent now. I have no one and still love is nil. I have no intention to play a role other than to be a good and loving mom. I love being a mom and that is my lone priority. I'm happier now. I make it clear to my children that it would be hard for me to live with someone sans love. I believe respect for each other should be left when two people drifted apart. I am enjoying the part and parcel of being a woman. Yes, it could have been better but a woman should better herself in every circumstances she's into...[sorry for being redundant]

And happy to say that I do enjoy tremendously every morning and hours before I tuck myself to bed...playing Plants vs Zombies, and now trying to build the Tower Blocks...LMAO...we should laugh a lot. Life goes on...

My stress-buster! :)

Anyway, for whatever its worth...
still the wife concerned has all the say to make her own judgment, it's your call...

More zombies are coming...

Am egging myself to write but nothing is doing. Got this writer's block...lawl...actually am so engrossed playing Plants vs Zombies by PopCap Games...almost everyday.

A mob of zombies is about to invade your home, and your only defense is an arsenal of zombie-zapping plants. Think fast and plant faster to stop the zombies dead in their tracks. And with five game modes to dig into, the fun never dies!

Words to ponder...

What money can't buy is much more important than what money can buy ( Lo que el dinero no puede comprar es mucho más importante que lo que el dinero puede comprar )

If you live to please other people, everybody may like you, but your are going to hate yourself . ( Si intentas agradarle a todo el mundo, vas a terminar detestándote)

To you sweetie!
