Something bad...something good...

I don't know how to call it, but somehow God always has something to let you feel that you are loved...that you are forgiven, that you need to vow only for good, that you need to strengthen your courage, not only for you, but for everybody as well.

And sometimes as human being, we are liable for some mistakes that we have done or capable of doing so, but He won't allow us to dwell on that. Yes, everybody do learn a lot instead...and in the process we see things not only on worms eye view but we are able to see things in its perspective.

With what we learned in life we will be able to shield ourselves when the same things happen again.

Go for only what is right and what is good...!!!

Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.

Barbara De Angelis

Kindness and truth shall meet...

It is not easy to choose friends. One of the reason why is, some people hide their true skin...their true color as they say. Sometimes it shows along the way, but some took time showing the true essence of the word in context. We all need friends aside from our dear family. We love to see friends and hang out with them for awhile when we have heartaches and disappointments...they do make us happier. They should be treasured when they are real ones. But sometimes it is our friend who hurt us the most. So, like the bible says..."truth and kindness shall meet"...that's why even our Lord Jesus Christ had to pray before he chose friends, his apostles. Because, yet even among those friends, there was one who betrayed Him. We, too...will have the same experience with our friends...and am not an exclusion here for there were some in my list who did have had hurt me most. Some people come into our lives and we then decided to choose some of them to be our friends to share our joy and sadness after opening our hearts to them. Yet, there'll come a time when some of them will be an instrument breaking our hearts into pieces. In that way...we learn some lessons of life that nothing in this world is permanent. That no one is indispensable. What we should armed ourselves is our courage not to be discouraged...our faith to go on inspite of what life will throw us. Faith alone will be our greatest instrument in life. It should always be in the equation in whatever task we are to tackle. For faith is synonymous to God. God should always dwell in our hearts. And if that happens, love in our hearts will forever flow. Forgiveness always follow love. No matter how one is culpable of hurting us...if you have God in your heart, then forgiveness will follow no matter how long it will take.

A couple of misfits...

What if you and your partner always has arguments over a couple of misfits? Being a couple doesn't necessarily mean that you jive along well in many aspects but it's very common to argue on some issues like who came late, who seldom text and of late replies. Even who will gonna wash the dishes...or even clean the sink. Simple matters but it really matter so much though. There should always be a give and take in any form of relationship. If there is, how would one gonna fail and be a washout? It should always be a two-way lane. It should be. How will it work conjucively for the other if it's gonna be a one-way lane course? Quite selfish di ba? Work it hand in hand and things will last forever...and if love is the common ground, I don't think one has to go astray. Love (always) binds...

Extreme sports?

Mountain climbing, crawling, digging and cave exploration (spelunking)...why not, I would really want to try but I am physically (very) unfit to join...buti na lang. I am not that adventurous person to join such daring activities maybe because I hate getting near snakes, bats, rats, or whatever predator might there'll be. It's too risky. But imagining myself seeing those heavenly stalactites or stalagmites, wow...those cave walls that for ages still stood there...mountains to climb with all those trees standing sentinel to watch over and worship the vast mountain with all it's glory and resplendent beauty. For sure while trekking you'll see body of water like streams or river...and I love it...with crystal water (meron pa kaya?) running...it's quite splendid. We were then invited by one Montenara member some years ago but I declined knowing the capacity of my physique to perform such arduous undertaking. Such expedition involves anticipated difficulty and hardship that I cannot truly handle.
I am just living in a world of mind exhaustion while in semi-sedentary mode...which is blogging...but it definitely gives me some highs. :)

PS/ This was posted way back Au6 15, 2008. And I just reposted it and added some pictures of me inside the cave. I've never imagined that one day I'd be able to get the chance to see real stalactites and stalagmites and hold your breath...there's even waterfalls inside that cave. I can't express my excitement seeing the wonders beneath that humongous rocky mountain and the wonders inside, and just the same I can't express my fear while we were exploring this cave. I worry about sudden shake from beneath the earth, omg...I was praying incessantly that we be able to finish the exploration as fast as we could. Yeah I know that we cannot say that it's spelunking and I don't know what to call it either...since it's already adulterated cave, developed for tourists and expectators. But anyway I just felt I need to share this one great experience which is one of the most highlighted in my sojourn here in Japan.

It is very easy to forgive others their mistakes; it takes more grit and gumption to forgive them for having witnessed your own.

For every pleasing thing, there is an unpleasing counterpart, for within every particle of the Universe is that which is wanted as well as the lack of that which is wanted. When you focus upon an unwanted aspect of something in an effort to push it away from you, it only comes closer, because you get what you give your attention to whether it is something that you want or not. It is up to you to focus upon and attract what is wanted.

@Higashima Botanical Garden

This old humongous tree caught my attention and nothing short of being awed because at first I thought it wasn't a real one. But when I saw some patches to preserve this giant, my jaw dropped at the very first sight of it. It stands sentinel in the middle of Higashima Botanical Park.

At Kodomo no Kuni (April 11, 2011)

Just when we're about to go home, the news on radio announced that Miyagi has just experienced  another two strong aftershocks...and this time it's intensity 7. Sigh... I really pray hard that all these will be hushed. Poor people there are living in fears not to mention the life threatening reactors still brewing.
Still, life must go on...
