Look for a long time at
what pleases you, and a longer time at what pains you..."
For life is not just about how we will live comfortably, or just about the good and the pleasurable things life may bring us, as we all hope it to be. But it's how we deal with rough roads, molehills and even the mountains each of us will have to trudge as we go through life; with a lot shimmying when edges are sharp, while others can go cherry-picking. But what is important is to be armed with great deal of faith and courage to face life's trial head on...

Getting hipper!
Since we have no internet access at home for about a couple of months already, I engrossed and keep myself busy either doing home chores, writing notes, computing our monthly subsistence, malling with my kids and or watching movies via iPod [...had seen Slumdog Millionaire, X-MEN Series, Jumper, Madagascar, and some old movies we treasure like Superman, Batman, Spiderman...and others] or listening to Nicole Eayala or LS-FM. When I drive pag morning I am usually tuned in to Nicole Eayala...gusto kong matawa eh. Sa dami ng concerns sa utak ko I need to laugh naman. And Nicole [...with Chris-tsuper] is nakakahawang tumawa. Then another favorite is LS-FM's Talk to Papa...hahaha...rambo ka! Sometimes, we have to feel young, at heart...ako I am greatly influenced by my kids talaga. Kahit sa music...ayun...I'm forced to keep my long time favorite CD's of Brickman, Babyface, Ingrams, McKnight, and others. Napalitan ng Up Dharma Down, Kamikazee, FrancisM, and more....now we are into classical naman...haizzz! Pero in fairness ha, I've learned to love their music talaga. Good thing at flexible ako... :)
Basta we have one common ground lang ng kids ko...which is music!
Watch this video of my favorite from Up Dharma Down's Every First Second...I just love it the first time I heard it live when I catched them in Robinson's Gale mini concert promoting their album.
Also TAYA...

Huli na ang lahat
Para bawiin ang hindi nararapat
Ano ba? umaayos ka
Wala nang magagawa sa nahulog na
At tayong dalawa, at tayong dalawa'y
urong(urong)
Sulong(sulong)
Urong-sulong nalang ba?
sakit(sakit)
bakit(bakit)
Bakit ako na lamang ang natitira?

Kasalanan mong lahat nang 'to
Bakit ako pinagbabayad mo?
Kasalanan mong lahat ng 'to, oh
Nagtataka ako,
Bakit siya ang pinili mo?

I really missed blogging!

Whoah! Went out to buy cloth but it's so hot...man, I can't stand the heat...here now at netopi@ to have a cooler ambience while having time visiting my sites. My headache is now building up, I guess I just have to stay for a few minutes more. I need to go home and rest. Too much heat is really debilitating me completely and suko ako dito. Buti na lang I saw this picture right off when I was deleting old mails. This one struck me instantly. I love this what they call hedgedog. First time to see this young and very small and cuddly cute creature. For more pictures click this link from StumbleuUpon. It looks like a squeeze ball when they try to escape predator.
My headache is really building up now so I have to s.o. first and then check my ATM and go home. I miss blogging talaga. I am so busy the past months and still is up to my neck. My gift for Tack on her birthday is still waiting to be mailed [....Tack am really sorry, my bad]

It's been so long!
Whoah! It's been a month since I last visited this site. And it's like a year already. Wow, I missed so much this thing I do for almost everyday the first time I would open my eyes in the morning. Still got no internet access at home that's why I couldn't just log on the way I'm doing it before. Still I have to visit this place like Netopi@ in order to open my emails or even blog the way I got used to...sigh...got so many ideas and stories to tell. But well, sometimes if it's already delayed na, it's kind of lazy na to write. I wanted it hot and brewing of course. Though it's way late na, I wanna greet my good friend TACK for her birthday this month. This person is so lovable and so full of courage. I envy how she got her faith from those experiences she's got in her very young age. For me she's a darling. She's godsent talaga. Imagine, siya pa ang naguuplift sa akin all the times. She's a wonderful soul...to you my dearie...HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Hope you got it blasting! May you have many more birthdays to come your way....!

Full of beans!
I should be...and I should always be. And just like any other soul here on earth, we should always be in high spirit. Because we are all blessed in our own little ways. Being blest does not center only being moneyed...or weel-known or being swooned about. I for one can't afford to hope for another pair of shoes to fit in. I love myself being me...so ordinary...so simple and so hopeful. I love being me...no matter what life gives me. I just love being the mom of my kids. I cannot imagine myself not with them. I love my life and with my trials I became what I am now...whetted and strong...a survivor. I've had so many trials and it happened to be an instrument making me a better person. I've had reached my rock bottom already and I survived it to the fullest. It's just a matter of acceptance and to have a better discernment of why things happenned and what to do next. Say I woke up one morning penniless and devastated...no matter how low the ebb is...still...another morning will come and everything will vanish...another start and new beginning will be in the offing. Like rain pouring, there'll be time to let up. Like the pitch black night, the dawn will soon break and ready to let the rays of the sun peep in the morning. So there's no reason why we shouldn't be hopeful and be happy and be contented...'coz contentment for me is synonymous to happiness!
Btw, I am planning to organize a monthly(hopefully) get together cum lunch in the house for my friends in high school. Rizalian Circa A-1...joke...basta...I envy my virtual mommy...the wife of Fiscal Daddy...who gathers her batchmate every month to get together and eat together. I got it from there. Hopefully it will start this September...on my birthday itself. I just hope to give it a try and hopefully again to make it confidently regular every month...or even bi-monthly...still not bad. I am a very private and a homestay person and it will not be too much if it will be my additional concern. I need to mingle a bit...pero sa bahay pa rin. : ) We'll surely miss Beth who passed away last year of heart ailment.
My friend F. Ko called me up and from her I got the bad news that our former classmate Vicky Abeto passed away but I don't know when that happened. Saaad!Tuesday, September 9, 2008
I've reached my 1,500th entry
My posts here has already reached it's 1,500th entry. This one should be done last night but the rumbling sounds of thunder and the brilliant sparks of lightning prevented me from doing so. The pelting downpour of rains was deafening. Then came a sudden blackout. The dwindling light from a candle made the ghost-story seemed more frightening. I heard my kids telling each other some goosebump experiences. I heard one says, "let's try spirit of the glass" in jest...and I say...hey, stop it! We just gathered in one corner of the sala and enjoyed the evening, and ordered 2 boxes of pizza. But my son who was then laughing and laughing put the phone back to its cradle. Instead I just cooked 4 packs of Pancit Canton and voila again...they all dived into it.

I'm done but...sigh...
Yup, I'm done with my expanded code and everything. Grabe it took a lot of waitings before I finally got it this afternoon via online inquiry. But now am still waiting for some opportunities, well you know what I mean...co-bloggers. I am grabbing every chances now...will keep an eye for possible tasks to come. :)
And another thing that kept me idle the past weeks was being with my off and on erratic blood pressures due to some lingering concerns...that's why I've gone bloey and downspirited. Stress always come knocking at my door...omg...I just need a break. Since I got home from Japan, my constant visitor is a lot of stress and I needed some time to gasp a bit of air to keep me alive. I wonder I'm still alive...and not in the corner drooling with eyes' rolling while eating vermin. Sometimes I would ask myself, kaya mo pa ba? I'd go, oo kaya ko pa...dapat lang...keeping my spirit up and keeping the will to survive is the answer to all of these. Things happen for a reason. Just heave a sigh and be strong...a good adage says, GOD gives us burden...also shoulders...
I am strong...I am invinsible...I am woman...my song!

In my prayers...

I was so sick for the past 3 days, had palpitations and angina and thought that I needed to be admitted in the hospital. I went panicky tho I calmed myself not to aggravate my condition. I was already having tremors and all those all at the same time. Tho feeling so weak and all was building up, I still believe it wasn't my time because I hate to think it that way. Now I'm still recuperating from my 3-day diarrhea plus my BP has gone awful due to some problems that arised and not within my control. Something too personal so I don't want to devulge details for privacy purposes. It's a good thing I'm not in the corner drooling...I hope things will get better for me and I hope I learned more from this dillemas. Sometimes I tend to believe everything is good and possible. I just have to be very wary next time not to make another slipup and indecisions. From this I just got a more tucked tummy...I don't know if I'd be happier or not...not in this situation that I yearn to be slimmer. I need to be slimmer in a healthier and better way unlike what I've just gone thru that put my life at risk. I need and pray all the time that I'd stay longer for my kids' sake. Now that I know that they're all I've got. I believe for sure, that children are from heaven...in jest, I just don't know where other people came from...who from day 1 eh lagi na lang pain in the a#*, oh dawg! Well everything happens, and everything happened for a reason. And one good thing about this is we do learn a lot of lesson and from there we can start anew...just like what's happening today when I opened my email, it is a welcome note that I am now a new postie and a new sparky. Whoah, great things happen when the least you expect it to happen. I'm just waiting for my code to start the ball rolling...err hot rodding. Hoot!...forget everything nonesense and non-earning matters.

Strangled by regrets...
I thanked God for giving me enough time to winnow my thoughts. Sometimes selfishly, the urge to be happier is the cause of all disppointment. And often times too, it gets the better of me. But when I try to analyze myself...I'd go...why did I do this...and why did I have to do that? I tend to forget sometimes to be wary of things and to know exactly what good will it do to me and to my being. Being stocked with knowledge doesn't mean that you are capable of doing what is right. We can never tell, that sometimes we are misguided or sometimes we are hoodwinked by some stuff nicely wrapped. And when you try to open it...voila...it's just a rubbish foolish thing inside. In my mind I allow this things to happen because I do believe in what the Bible says...it shall be written...and it shall be done. We can never tell...that some things are bound to happen, to make you grow as a person.
Each one of has a life to live. And we are given the right to choose , the path we choose to trudge. Our own choice will depend on the way we recognize things, good or bad, we have the will to live and the will to make things right. Then why are we sometimes stuck in mire? What could be the problem? The problem is, we tend not to seek what is right. We are always blinded by our emotions.

That's nice!!!
His I-don't-care-a-bit attitude really ticked me off previously...duh! If there were no participation indeed I wouldn't give a dang...give him a call or even send sms. I am not sure if there's no connivance somewhere 'coz it's very apparent na doon siya sa other side. No sense of loyalty. Very wrong move I made. I have thought of otherwise. And that's nice...somebody taught me to say "that's nice" instead of that's s#@t!!!
Thanks Angela...you have taught me a lot, how is it to be sensible enough!

It's your call...

I am standing firm on my decision to just keep quiet and stay away from those people who in one way or another have brought havoc to ruin my sanity, but they failed of course. In a nutshell, I only believe that respect counts a lot. I am very respectful to whoever I meet. This is one thing that shows how you are as a person. If you can't say good words to other person, it might be better to just keep your mouth shut. Mouthing hurtful words might just put you instead to a difficult situation. So, the bottomline is...learn how to respect others. We can't tell what the future (might) brings.
A friend once told me, "We are not here to condemn anybody..."
