Onsen...The public hot-spring bath...

Makki told me to be ready 'coz we're going out yesterday...so I did. We rode a train...ate obento outside...with doves flying near me to ask for a grub to eat...

Omg...do you know where she had brought me? To a hot spring where everybody is walking and bathing in their birthday suit...my goodness, if only I knew where we're going I would've just stayed at home instead. There's no way to argue that time but to laugh it all away...and bathe inside and the rule says remove all your dress and undergarments...whew!!! You'll have to take a bath first in a sitting position, of course there's a plastic stool there...shampoo, liquid soap and a scrub. You'll be given a towelette and all you have to do is to damp it with water and wrap it around your hair/head. Then you can choose...there are 6 smaller swimming pool...one is cold...and five are in steaming hot water...there's one with yellowish water, with herbs Makki says...good for the skin...one with reddish-brown with tea for athritis and pains. The bigger size is colder and it's for walking exercises.

Each one is given an individual locker. There's a big mirror where anyone can just sit there after taking a hot bath where you can blow dry your hair...there's lotion, cotton buds and facial lotion too.

There's also an entertainment outside the bath area. A small tiangge and a massage parlor too. A one stop shop health-wise.
