To the best of my recollection...I don't remember all my breaking points.

Honestly I can't ask for more, mababaw lang kaligayahan ko and one thing I've learned from my voluminous experiences...whether bad or worse or even nice things that happened in the past...I always consider myself as luckier than others. We know that being grateful to God for our precious lives is one thing and being resilient is another thing. Pag nadapa kailangan nating bumangon and put ourselves together once more. Been badly broken a lot of times...but still I did manage to carry on 'coz there's no point of reliving the past. Looking back will only give you malady...as well as leaving you flipped out.

Bday Pictures, Images and Photos
Just enjoy life because it's already a blessing! Just keep it bowlin'!!!

Happy Birthday to me!

Go Libra! It's your birthday!

Here's a toast!

Please don't retouch my wrinkles.
It took me so long to earn them.

Autumnal Equinox

First day of Fall 2009 starts today, when the Earth and the Sun align for autumn. Vernal equinox appears during spring which is on March usually, while autumn equinox occurs during September and this is for the northern hemisphere only. In southern hemisphere, it's the other way around...in contrast so to be exact.

Making the night and day of equal length...giving it 12 hours each.

So let's expect and be thankful for the bountiful harvest and feast to celebrate...

Bato bato sa langit!

Hahaha! This is one of my favorite amongst songs that play again and again whenever am behind the wheels...talagang earjacking to the max kasi inspired akong magdrive pag ito ang sounds, 'coz after FM next is Gloc9 talaga. I really like this song a lot!

Earjacking!

we are the crowd, we're c-coming out
got my flash on it's true, need that picture of you
it's so magical, we'd be so fantastico
leather and jeans, garage glamorous
not sure what it means but this photo of us
it don't have a price, ready for those flashing lights
'cause you know that baby I

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me, papa-paparazzi
baby, there's no other superstar
you know that I'll be your papa-paparazzi
promise I'll be kind, but I won't stop until that boy is mine
baby you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me
papa-paparazzi

I'll be your girl backstage at your show
velvet ropes and guitars, yeah 'cause you're my rockstar
in between the sets, eyeliner and cigarettes
shadow is burnt, yellow dance and we turn
my lashes are dry, purple teardrops I cry
it don't have a price, loving you is cherry pie
'cause you know that baby I

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me, papa-paparazzi
baby there's no other superstar
you know that I'll be your papa-paparazzi
promise I'll be kind but I won't stop until that boy is mine
baby you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me
papa-paparazzi

real good, we dance in the studio
snap snap, to that shit on the radio
don't stop for anyone
we're plastic but we still have fun

I'm your biggest fan
I'll follow you until you love me, papa-paparazzi
baby there's no other superstar
you know that I'll be your papa-paparazzi
promise I'll be kind but I won't stop until that boy is mine
baby you'll be famous, chase you down until you love me
papa-paparazzi

I have noticed...

Whoah! My internet access has been on and off and it prevented me from making the usual rounds I used doing when it wasn't in an intermittent status. I reported it already and somehow I am satisfied naman how the Globe people took my complaints unlike the other network who got to my nerve but that was a long story to tell. Let the past bury the dead. Anyway, going back...the moment I got my hands on my computer naturally, the first thing I usually do is to open my email and answer all there is to answer. Same goes with my blog sites. When I did some blog-hopping I was shocked, oh no...not shocked I mean I was disappointed to find out that I was removed from their blogroll. For me, when one ask me for a link I usually do not decline the invitation and there wasn't any chance that I did the invitation since I blog because wanted to blog. And not for anything else. This is my passion. I love to write my journals and indeed I am a frustrated writer because it is really my dream to become one. When I first started out this blog I had only one thing in mind, to write my daily musing...when am inspired or not...my rumblings...my faith and everything about how I feel for the day...just for posterity reason. When one invited me for a link exchange I obliged freely but I wonder why some took my name out of their blogroll. Wow...I can't say anything but to heave a sigh. I just want to leave my blogroll as it is...anyway it's not anymore important to me to earn a vote or whatever like community or anything there. I don't feel like asking favors just to earn the most blah blah blah...I just want to write my thoughts and that's it! Cheers! I remember Jen who once said,"remove me and I will remove you"...lol!

Plus size no more!

It's really a bonus at my age to really attain my desired waistline and or my body weight. It's a plus factor for me, not only health-wise but also the looking good factor. I can truly say I was really a late-bloomer...lol...sobrang late naman. But anyway it's always never too late for anything. Noon I would eat all I could ever wish for. Not now anymore 'coz I know if it's not good I'd rather not throw it in. I crave more on fruits, the cheapest is the lacatan. I always see to it that we have bananas each meal. I choose lacatan bacause it has a longer shelf life than latundan. Sometimes I would buy myself dalandan, the bigger one than the normal size and sweeter also. For ten pesos each it's okey na, and P25 per kilo of lacatan, voila...I just love it. As we age, we should be on the look out to what we put in our mouth.
Do away with choc'lates and junk foods, and I suggest you go cold turkey! Just a matter of self-discipline!

Now everybody would ask me how did I lose some extra flabs daw? Am flattered because dati if they would see me they'd say ang taba mo, ang laki mo"...etc...but not anymore. From 184 my needle stopped at 149.08 and I try to maintain it that way, but still I want to reach my goal which is 130 for my height. Now I am ecstatic to ask for a medium size tee...it's great and I feel proud to achieve this goal. With ischaemic heart, some angina and hypertension episodes, I can't go near getting fat again lest I want to put my health in jeopady.

And for me, the best solution to lose unwanted fats is as easy as pie...just stay away from the table and go vegan! Lol!

Sweet Taylor deserves her moment!

The proverbial straw...

That Arab proverb that tells about the last and final straw that broke the camel's back can be applied to me because for two weeks I was on pins and needles so to say. We all do have a breaking point and somehow it is our call whether to stay or to give up. But no matter how heavy my load becomes, am blest with a resilient spirits. Am grateful to have been blest by this.

In the shadows I see her rocking, alone.
On the fringe he's fighting a war all his own.
It's easy for me to just turn away,
but Jesus tells me to take time to stay.
In compassion I hold her passive, cold hand.
With concern I bend down and help him to stand.
I don't feel assured in what I should do,
yet Jesus guides me as His love shines through.

Singing lessons and voice training online?

Oh dear me, I saw this video singing success online...amazing and I checked it out and it helps...'coz I did try myself. But I give it a second thought because I am right now scrimping...lol!I cannot help myself but feel envious whenever I see someone who can really really sing just like my son's classmates...marami sila and really are talented. One is Junelle who has a very powerful voice and Jonalyn Viray who's making a name in musiclandia via her vocal range, also see how Franz Gregor sings in differrent keys. May mga gifted talaga pero there are those honed like Leah Salonga. our famous Miss Saigon lead star.
My son really wanted to study Music and I just hope he'll do not only good but put his heart and soul into it. Sa akin nagmana kasi I remember when I was younger then, I used to buy cassette tapes for minus one. I love singing It's My Turn, songs of Carpenters...and other old songs including Never Gonna Say Goodbye. I really love singing sana but I am not that confident because I am very shy in front of people and thinking of not hitting the right note eh kahiya talaga to the max. Haha, I did try Dulce's rendition of Your Heart Today...super ganda, but nothing came out. That's too high a note so no choice but to just listen rather than sing. Wheew! They are lucky indeed to have been blest with beautiful voices.

Voila! Here is the song I always sing...I really love this song ever since.

Waaahhh! I want to sing this with more bravado and gusto!

How I wish I could sing confidently without any qualms...but that is yet to come... :)

Lyrics:
Somebody lied to me,
It just can't be,
You cant be gone forever.
Somebody got it wrong,
you are gonna love me all my life.
Where'd we good together,
now I'm on my own,
And I don't think I'll ever learn to live,
one day alone.

CHORUS

So/woh I'm never gonna say goodbye,
say goodbye, is something I can't bring my self to do.

Acid reflux discomfort...

When stomach acid moves into the throat it gives you awful feeling on your stomach and that soury taste it leaves on your tongue. Sometimes they call this heartburn[*GERD], but this is not to be taken for granted if you suspect that you have this simple heartburn. Look seriously into the matter, go and seek your doctor's help professionally. And avoid foods that will or may trigger this problem. Improve your eating habits and if your obese, try to help yourself to put your weight on a normal level. Try to eliminate those junk foods, fatty stuff, alcoholic drinks that may only contribute to worsen the situation. And if you can help it, try to stop smoking..if not for a while quit it for your own sake, healthwise. I think Alka Seltzer, Milk of Magnesia, antacids also is available over-the-counter for fast remedies but it won't be a sure guarantee that it won't attack again by building up stomach acids and pushing it up to your esophagus. Me, I use Maalox and Novaluzids that are in small packets ready to sip and it helps...

*Gastro Esophageal Reflux Desease

What is important here to keep in mind is to keep a healthy diet. And more of discipline when it comes to your lifestyle. Avoid everything that may trigger and help upset your condition.

PS/This is for my dear friend Carlos who right now is on reflux medication.
To you my dear friend...do be well!

Hello, hello, hello
Is there anybody in there?

Just nod if you can hear me
Is there anyone at home?

Come on, now
I hear you're feeling down
Well, I can ease your pain
Get you on your feet again

Relax

I need some information first
Just the basic facts
Can you show me where it hurts?

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child I had a fever
My hands felt just like two balloons
Now I've got that feeling once again
I can't explain, you would not understand
This is not how I am
I have become Comfortably Numb
I have become Comfortably Numb

Ok, just a little pin prick
There'll be no more AHHHHHH!!
But you may feel a little sick

Can you stand up?
I do believe it's working, good
That'll keep you going through the show
Come on it's time to go

There is no pain you are receding
A distant ship smoke on the horizon
You are only coming through in waves
Your lips move but I can't hear what you're saying
When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now

The child is grown
The dream is gone

I have become Comfortably Numb

PS#2/ Why did I add this song? Well to those who may still haven't heard about how this song came about...the bassist of PinkFloyd, Roger Waters wrote this song, got the idea when he was given a prick of tranquilizers to appease his stomach pain while he was set to perform with the band at Philadelphia tour in 1977. He was in pain so the doctor decided to give him a shot. He said "that was the longest two hours of my life...trying to do a show when you can hardly lift your arm."

And reason #2 is...I've learned this song via my friend's blog *tessnisse*...which he has decided to close last year I think. Check out his present blog site using the link I gave just above this post.

It says...

Underneath all your social brilliance lies a rock-solid sense of what's right and what's wrong. It's why people are so enthralled by your every move. They know there's a strong moral compass underneath the glitter.

More than anything...

We all have our wishes...
dreaming...and praying that one day
it will all come into our hands.
But no matter how we want those wishes,
only God knows what's coming by.
When everyone wishes for fortune,
and everyone wishes for something that blooms,
I have but one thing in my mind that I always desire...
and that's another more time that'll never fade with the sunset,
Just leaving me there with a smile...

The gift of gab...

One thing I love when I am writing is using idiomatic expressions. I find it fascinating of not going into full direct point of the issue. let's say one passes untrue or false declaration of a story...we can use the cock and the bull story rather, which is also synonymous to fib, false, canard, lie, fish story, tall tale and many others more. This idioms are phrases where when words are put together they will have different meanings from the definition of the words individually given. Use this link to see how many idioms we have... and learn how to use them.
An object lesson serves as a warning to others. (In some varieties of English 'abject lesson' is used.)
Odds and ends
Odds and ends are small, remnant articles and things- the same as 'bits and bobs'.
Off colour
If someone looks off colour/color, they look ill.
Off the beaten track
Somewhere that's off the beaten track is in a remote location.
Off the chart
If something goes off the chart, it far exceeds the normal standards, good or bad, for something.

Jettison that old notion about friendship...

For me the basic foundation stone of friendship should be respect. It's an all -in-one ingredient of having a good harmony between friends. If you share everything with friends and at least you're able to offer that sense of worth or honor...I think small glitches or minor interruption that are inevitably arising during the cycle of friendship can be easily patched up or mended in no time at all.To value a person's friendship it is very important that we have respect for esch other as we are two different person, with different views maybe and sometimes we do touch our principles that may vary 'coz we're not cut out as one whole pattern. And besides, we're not always thinking the same thing in many aspects. So we have to consider that we cannot find our reflection like we do when we look at the mirror.

So if you want your friend to stay with you for a long time...wag mong hanapin yung ugali mo sa kanya...'coz you're two different persons combined to share each others dream, plans, admiration and so on...

And so it's also possible for two persons to jive and be the best of friends even if they don't have many things in common, but at least share one common ground to harmonize...that is they want to be friends and that's it...if you care for a person, then you'll learn how to appreciate him in the most manner basta andyan yung respect...'coz real friends do not tarnish, fade or depreciate...

Those cathartical moves...and some magical moments...

Wheeew...always leaving me speechless, and flabbergasted!

The famous footwork of James Brown was Michael Jackson's greatest influence when it comes to dancing. He has learned how to hone it perfectly in such a way it has been labeled as the Michael's move, and later on became his signature dance exhibition...having the moonwalk, the backslide, the robotic moves and the poppin'...making him the most gifted entertainer of the history, both in dancing and singing. Since the famous Thriller, how can anyone pass the All Soul's Day without his song heard over the radio or even everywhere we go?

I wish...I wish

My son had seen this movie and he's recommending this one... much so to get a book, entitled The Time Traveler's Wife. eh mukhang mahal siya kaya I'll have to save pa for this one. Also I would love to get all books about MJ.

I saw one by J. Randy Toraborrelli which I am reading right now that carries the title, The Magic and the Madness. I got a lot of time to save 'coz still it's twenty days shy of my birthday pa naman. Well, am back to my old habit...which is reading. Always looking for a possible Sidney Sheldon on resale of books...but still there's none available. Lol, I bought a glossy magazine tribute to MJ, The Greatest Performer of All Time...which I kept after browsing it.
Wheeew! Free promo na naman ako. And also again, I saw book about Cory Aquino, I think I also want that and have a glimpse of Cory's life when she was still the private Cory 'til she became our famous president.

Speaking of books...I decided na talaga to let go of my old pocketbooks na to my friends who also like me have passion in reading. I still have two large plastic bags here full of newer ones that I seemed to keep pa longer...

Cheers!

Was sick and tired of getting annoyed and piqued. My patience kasi seemed to come under considerable strain because of some irritable circumstances these past few days. Now am in a better mood, shall I say my bestest and quite ecstatic. Two Globe linemen [hope am right here] were here awhile ago and had fixed our internet connection...uhhhmmm...voila, am here now. Great!
