With a whole planet to save, we need your help.
TAKE ACTION!
Simple lang, Unplug! Unplug your coffee maker after use.
One of the top energy guzzlers in the kitchen is the coffee maker. Its power requirement ranges from 600 to 2,000 watts. Imagine if you leave your coffee maker on for a whole day to heat up the remaining half cup of coffee in the pot…a lot of consumed energy just for a half cup?
Coffee is definitely good while its hot so do remember that after brewing coffee you can transfer it to a thermos instead of continuously heating it on the coffee maker. You retain the heat while saving electricity.
