Christmas is near...as early as September, we become busy making our Christmas gift list. Who makes it to our usual gift list--family, friends, classmates, officemates, special someone, etc.? So it's time to share your big smile...your warm hugs...your listening ears...and some of your good blessings to the most needy. These are more than enough to brighten up someone's day and lift up a weary soul. He once said that, "Whatever you do to the least of my brethren you do it for me." And so let me ask, how about Jesus...is He included in our long list? What could be the best gift for Him? For me it's the spirit of g-i-v-i-n-g! No matter how small or big as long as it comes from the heart.
Unselfishly we can make others feel the true essence of Christmas. But for those who have nothing to share, don't worry...as long as our hearts are filled with God's love and that we share His love within and outside the home, that's also Christmas time spirit.
So...can you give love on Christmas time?
