Quite impressive...talking the talk!

[forgive me with this picture...I just love it...profile-wise!]
big grin :)

Excerpts:
Invoking his own name-and-shame policy
, President Barack Obama warned the nation's mayors on Friday that he will "call them out" if they waste the money from his massive economic stimulus plan.

"The American people are watching," Obama told a gathering of mayors at the White House. "They need this plan to work. They expect to see the money that they've earned — they've worked so hard to earn — spent in its intended purposes without waste, without inefficiency, without fraud."

In the days since the White House and Congress came to terms on the $787 billion economic package, the political focus has shifted to how it will work. Obama has staked his reputation not just on the promise of 3.5 million jobs saved or created, but also on a pledge to let the public see where the money goes.(Wikipedia)

I just woke up with thumping headache, made my late coffee and open my PC...was attracted to read this headline 'bout President Obama's stern and ramrod policy on mayor's stimulus money. It's really quite an impressive to give steely orders and if really done and implemented...I think he's got balls and he really meant what he says...of course from the start I rooted for him, so I believe he really deserves the seat. Just GO! And spell the CHANGE!

I hope he'll be a model to our next future aspiring presidents...who will love first the country and look up to the integrity of being elected and chosen by Filipino people, specially the poorest of the poor who really need changes...to improve and help their lives. To be given such privilege and great task to be the highest official of the land is a rare chance in a lifetime so, why let it be ruined in exchange of lumps of money? I don't say anything blah blah blah...but as a citizen, I still have yet to see a lot of changes despite of some struggles from the government. Kaya natin yan... if only rules or laws are really implemented to a tee, then why would change be not possible or near? Marami na kasi tayong nasasayang na pera from our reserves or funds to reconstruct our economy or for whatever reasons ay nauuwi sa scams...napakalaking amount that would even spell big changes to other people who voted for them...but they just chose to deal it with their own selfish terms. [...teka masyado akong nagiging emo yata, eh kay aga2... lol]

But then, honestly let's pray for our future government sans scams and illegal wishes and underhand deals. Pwede?! Pwede...
